Brief
This project involved designing and structuring a SharePoint-based learning and information hub to support an internal GIG (Internal Marketplace) program.
The platform was created to provide employees with clear, accessible, and well-structured resources explaining what the GIG program is, how it works, and how to participate effectively. The goal was to reduce confusion, increase engagement, and support informed decision-making for both employees and managers.
The hub brings together:
Core program explanations (what a GIG is and is not)
Participation guidelines and expectations
Practical resources and guides
Clear next steps and calls to action
The solution supports learning in the flow of work, allowing employees to access information exactly when they need it.
Performance support mindset rather than formal training
Clear content hierarchy and scannable layouts
Learner-centered language and plain English
Visual structure supporting quick orientation and self-navigation
The effectiveness of the SharePoint learning hub can be evaluated through:
Increased awareness and understanding of the GIG program
Higher engagement with internal mobility initiatives
Reduction in repetitive HR and manager inquiries
Positive qualitative feedback from employees and stakeholders
