Brief

I designed and authored a 10 page interactive workbook (eBook) to help job seekers confidently prepare for the most common interview questions. The guide focuses on the classic “Tell me about yourself” opener and expands into 9 additional foundational questions, providing structured frameworks, real-world examples, and fillable sections for personal answers.

The goal was to transform abstract interview advice into an actionable, self-paced learning experience. Instead of passive reading, users actively reflect and customize their responses using guided prompts, checklists, and example templates tailored to various industries (corporate, IT, project management, accounting, etc.).

The workbook was originally created for my career coaching website InterviewMaster.pl, where I offered interview preparation and career coaching services. It served as a free lead magnet and a downloadable resource.

Target Audience

Early- to mid-career professionals (2–10+ years of experience)
Job seekers in corporate, IT, software development, project management, business analysis, and related fields
Polish and international candidates applying for roles that require English
People transitioning careers or preparing for structured interviews (e.g., competency-based or behavioral questions)

My Role & Instructional Design Approach

Conducted needs analysis based on common pain points reported by coaching clients (difficulty structuring self-introductions, lack of industry-specific examples, anxiety around open-ended questions)
Applied adult learning principles (andragogy): relevance, immediate applicability, problem-centered approach
Structured content using a consistent framework for each question:
1. Why the question is asked
2. Common mistakes
3. Recommended structure / formula
4. 4–5 customizable key points (skills, qualifications, traits, experience, interests)
5. Real examples + fillable worksheet area
Designed for cognitive ease: short sections, bullet points, bolded keywords, visual hierarchy, checkboxes, and ample white space for notes
Created a branded, high-contrast visual style (magenta theme) to make the material feel professional yet approachable and motivating

Tools Used

Canva (layout, graphics, icons, PDF export)
Google Docs / Microsoft Word (initial content drafting and outlining)
Grammarly (clarity and readability editing)

Evaluation & Impact

Served as a core free resource on InterviewMaster.pl for ~3 years
No formal quantitative metrics were tracked at the time, but qualitative client success stories frequently referenced using the workbook as part of their preparation routine before landing roles.

This project demonstrates my ability to combine content expertise (interview strategy), instructional design (structured, active learning), and visual communication to create practical, high-value learning materials for adult professionals.
